Via Francigena: from Verres to Roppolo by bike
A stage full of cultural and scenic attractions, starting from crossing the bridge of Bard, a charming village dominated by the imposing fort, now home to the Museum of the Alps, and leading to Donnas along the ancient Roman Road of Gaul. With the entry into Piedmont, the profile of the territory becomes sweeter and the route becomes less demanding, alternating characteristic villages with pleasant stretches immersed in nature. Do not miss a visit to the historic center of Ivrea. The route continues at the foot of the Serra Morenica di Ivrea, the largest in Europe, offering fascinating views of Lake Viverone and passing through picturesque places such as Piverone, a typical village-road. Along the way there are numerous refreshment points and fountains.
